Tourney round: APGA Tour 2026: T2: The Masters - Round 2

<< T2: The Masters - Round 1

Notes from the organizer: It's a solid first round of -5 for defending champion Adam L which puts him in the lead alongside Tom F and people's champion Dave K.

Unsurprisingly, our leaders are followed closely by a tightly bunched chasing pack after R1.

Leaderboard can be found here - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1hvpd9iYODZXcUlxMwjdbZjl-llgqNeEDAEG_GcDrr8U/edit?gid=582648009#gid=582648009&range=A1:BM1

As we move onto Round 2 it is a Junior Numbers Attack and we use the same theme as R1 of The Players Championship, but with one major criteria change that is intended to test your concentration levels. I don’t want you to correctly solve the target, instead I want you to solve to within one either side of it.

For example, if the picks were 9, 8, 4, 3 and 2 and the target was 30, then a correct solve would be declaring 31 (9x3+4) or 29 (8x4-3). Both of these would get you a birdie (scoring below)

Use 2 numbers - Eagle
Use 3 numbers - Birdie
Use 4 numbers - Par
Use 5 numbers - Bogey
Any other outcome - solve exactly, or to within 2-10 or fail or don’t declare - Double Bogey.

Amen Corner (holes 11, 12 and 13) lie in wait to catch you out. On these three holes I DO want you to solve exactly instead of within one, solving within 1 would, for these holes, score you a double bogey.

Rounds 19 and 20, as always, don’t count.

Good luck!
