Dave Kempshall Result: Match 18 - A ding-dong battle between Adam and Florence could have gone either way, but - as has been the theme of the tournament - Team USA edge it, 2-Up.

It's match point USA. USA 13.5 v 5.5 Europe.

Dave Kempshall Thanks for pointing out an error in marking Ravi, I'm afraid life gets worse for Team Europe as I incorrectly marked hole 9 in Robin and Wesley's match. I marked in favour of Wesley when it should have been a tied hole. That small error was the difference in allowing Robin to stage a late comeback and tie the match. USA 14 v 5 Europe. USA very much on match point now and can't lose, the best Europe can do is tie.

Notes from the organizer: We’ve had 16 team matches of varying formats and pairings and Team USA have moved to the final day with a healthy lead.

Team USA 11.5 v 4.5 Team Europe.

But, only 57% of matches have been played and much can change as everyone takes to the course on Day 3 for 12 singles matches.

You will now play another Instant Letters Attack game versus Prune that is matched up against your corresponding numbered opponent.

Scoring is the same as previously. Every round you score with a longer word than your opponent wins the hole. The winner is the person who wins the most holes (rounds 1-18) and they will score one point towards their team’s overall score. Drawn matches are ‘halved’ with each player earning 1/2 a point.
