Notes from the organizer: After a tight first round we move to a Standard Letters Attack. With Dallas being one of the most iconic soap operas of all time, it’s time for Soap to make a cameo appearance. Scoring is as follows:

9 letter word - Eagle
8 letter word - Birdie
7 letter word - Par
6 letter word - Bogey
5 letter word - Double Bogey
4 or worse - Triple

Soap’s role in proceedings is to deny you those scores. In every round Soap beats you, your declared word (if valid) will still count, but your score on that hole will be penalised by one stroke.

For example, if you declare PUTTING, but Soap correctly declares PITCHING in that round, your seven letter word would be penalised to a six letter word and your par would become a bogey.
