Notes from the organizer: After a tough opening round, it's wildcard Matthew T who leads the way posting a stunning -2. Dave R (+3), Florence (+7) and Richard (+9) all also produce excellent rounds to lie 2nd, 3rd and 4th. Tom and Adam both make strong starts in their aim for a second major of the season and lie 5th on +10.
We now move on to letters for the remainder of the tournament. I expect the top of the leaderboard to remain tight (with some people’s chances falling away) as we tackle an Aegilops Letters Attack.

9-8 points - Par
7-1 points - Bogey
0 points - Double Bogey
