![]() | Elwin Carlos Question... I unintentionally made my second pit stop a bit early... Thought I'd go for a third stop on lap 16 to freshen the tyres for the last few laps but this doesn't seem to be reflected in the spreadsheet. Is it to be assumed that this race is strictly a two stop strategy? |
![]() | Elwin Carlos Or was I better off on old softs anyway? |
![]() | Trevor Potts Hey Elwin! The race spreadsheets don't normally allow 3 pit stops as by default you'd normally be on Hards from a 2nd stop and they should get you to the end.

![]() | Elwin Carlos Awesome, thanks Trevor! |
![]() | Ian Volante oh bollocks |
![]() | Andres S. Argh, coulda had a banger here. Once a word enters your mind and nothing else it's tough to feel like it's a valid or not word. |
![]() | Trevor Potts Unlucky Ian, I guess we know where Charles Leclerc's Monaco curse landed after he banished it last year. |
![]() | Ravi Choudhary I will go for a M-S-S tyre selection, please. |
Notes from the organizer: https://sites.google.com/view/formulaapterous/ for Rules, Standings, and links to spreadsheets for all sessions.
Specifically the spreadsheet for this race is https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/16R8F2wzBJmbAkRkrsAbv7t_TZyGg4ppa6O7P9jtxrHw/
IMPORTANT: The FIA have tried to spice the Monaco GP up this year by mandating not just one but TWO pit stops in the race. As such, ANYONE WHO DOES NOT COMPLETE AT LEAST TWO PIT STOPS IN THIS RACE WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.
The recommended pit stop laps on the default SMS (Soft-Medium-Soft) strategy are laps 6 AND 14.
The famous Monte Carlo circuit is the hardest to overtake of all, with an overtake delta of 5 seconds! So some well timed quick pit stops may be the key to gaining track positions for this race.
Our very own 'Mr Saturday' Matty has taken pole in Formula Apterous, with runaway championship leader T-Cap's perfect start to the season under threat here as he starts in P6. It would take an all-time great Monte Carlo drive for him to extend his win-every-race record so far.
In Formula Dipterous, it's Ian who has the honour and advantage of a Monaco pole. Good luck all and please, please DON'T FORGET TO MAKE TWO PIT STOPS!
