![]() | Ravi Choudhary For clarification - is it too late to select your wildcard rounds? |
![]() | Adam Latchford Yes. cut off was 12pm today i'm afraid and enough notifications given! sorry! |
![]() | Ravi Choudhary Cheers, Adam! |
![]() | Mark Jeary-Fairbairn Ah was going to ask the same Adam - was away and back today and kept forgetting to message you. |
![]() | Ravi Choudhary Ross Allatt, for some reason, is not on the spreadsheet. |
![]() | Adam Latchford Will add when I update it with scores (he was the last person to enter. I have his rating locked) |
![]() | Ian Volante I still don't understand how this works. I probably said that last year too. |
![]() | Adam Latchford Very simple. You have a rating of 1000. You score 100 here. You need 900 more points to get your target.
|
![]() | Adam Latchford (Hypothetical rating for example) |
![]() | Ian Volante Okay, and you can't go over? |
![]() | Adam Latchford you can't go over |
![]() | Adam Latchford cracking day 1 effort guys. tables updated as of games played at 22:55 day one. Remember 2 days per game, and if you need extension let me know ahead of time so I can organise it well. Cheers |
![]() | Ian Volante So, the winner is the closest one to their rating? |
Show all comments | |
![]() | Jon Pinyan The winner is the first one to get there, after several rounds. Last year it took 11 rounds for anyone to get there. |
![]() | Fiona T Could you add % reached to the spreadsheet too pretty please? |
![]() | Adam Latchford Yes I'll add that in by the end of round 2 :-) |
![]() | Adam Latchford Ian: just to clarify. The winner is who reaches their exact rating first. After that has been achieved the tournament still continues for everyone else to see if they can reach theirs. Last year 14 people reached which was a sterling effort. I've means tested the games so it will be achievable no matter what your starting rating was.

![]() | Ian Volante Got it, thanks. |
Notes from the organizer: Welcome to 2025 Reach your Rating! You all have 2 days to play this game, nobody has used their wildcard here so this is as simple as a round gets.
Good luck!
