Notes from the organizer: Hello! Welcome back to Reach Your Rating! Tournament ran last year and was won by Fiona Thorne - see the bottom of this description for the leaderboard and the last tournament links.
How will it work?
You will play a series of games every 2 days against prune during May, with your score in each game getting you one step closer to the finish line - your actual rating. Ergo the playing field is levelled against the monsters!
What has changed this year?
1) I have an owl license, so you can't see the games ahead of time. Woo.
2) You have the option to wildcard three rounds. For these you can choose to play against Rex instead of against Prune. You will receive 2.5x your score if you choose this. Before the tournament starts - a list of potential rounds will be released and you can select either three rounds that have been listed, or you can choose the round number (ergo rounds 1, 2 and 3 please). You won't know when that variant will come out - so how will you choose to gamble? If you choose no options, then you will receive no chances of this multiplier.
3) Repeat rounds. In some rounds - there will be a score target for you. If you hit this target, you can play another game against prune and this score will also count. You can do this repeatedly until you no longer hit that score.
4) This is reach your rating. If you surpass your rating, that round WILL NOT COUNT. So be careful as you reach the finish line - you don't want to trip up!
Good luuuuuuuck.
