![]() | Florence C-L Under Option 1, does declaring P45 or S34 just score 0, or does it also end the game? |
![]() | Andy SC @Florence - Under option 1, they would both score 0 and it would not end the game. |
![]() | Adam Latchford Option 1 has been selected twice in a row, so like a year 8 who doesn't understand their exam, since it's happened twice it can't possibly happen again and thus i will ignore option 1 |
![]() | Sean D Ok, who took OCTAMETHYLCYCLOTETRASILOXANES out of the dictionary, eh? |
![]() | Matthew Tassier #2024CullOfNonsense |
![]() | Martin Hurst Are you saying Sean's word was culled as a nonsense word in the dictionary update, or that this letters format should be culled as nonsense? If it is the latter, I wholeheartedly agree! |
![]() | Matthew Tassier Whichever gets the 'likes' of course.
|
![]() | Ben Bazzard @Andy - it is with a huge amount of respect and gratitude that I have taken part in the tournaments you run; I can only imagine the time and effort needed to make them run so smoothly.
|
![]() | Dan Spinks Don't provoke him Ben, there's still time for him to add in spoilage numbers |
![]() | Andres S. I do realize I started my game with not much time until finishing
|
![]() | Andy SC Just finish it when you get back. I can see that you started it before the deadline. |

![]() | Andres S. Should be all good now |
![]() | Andy SC Option 3 was the scoring method for this round. Scores based on that are as follows:

![]() | Andy SC Top 5 after Day 6.
|
![]() | Dave Kempshall Fun R6 fact: I started typing pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis for R20 whilst on the runway at Riyadh airport, and finished typing it midair. Thanks for marking despite me being 3 minutes past deadline Andy :) |
Notes from the organizer: Day 6 is a Spoilage Letters Attack.
Three scoring options are as follows:
Option 1: No PNEUMONOULTRAMICROSCOPICSILICOVOLCANOCONIOSIS or SUPERCALIFRAGILISTICEXPIALIDOCIOUS allowed.
Option 2: Each word you declare that begins with a vowel will result in that word score being doubled
Option 3: 20 bonus points for every round where the letters in the selection appear consecutively in your declaration. For example if the selection is NOT, NOTHING would get you 20-points plus the 7-points you would score
