George Armstrong Maybe should've done better with some favourable selections. You know you've had an easy ride when you're gifted a 2L LNAFP

Tim Down Practices were all fine, was expecting to sail through, but I'm just too dopey this morning.
Zohaib Rehan Haha clear trend between this game and my last rawdogging purest form of dogging thanks for hosting! Great tourney
Matthew Tassier Dave and Jack, two of the chasing pack behind Tom in total tournament points, came out top here. It's clearly a round that suits Jack as this is the 3rd time he's ended up Strongest Link on a Nasty round.
Matthew Tassier Zohaib, this year's top debutant, so nearly saved himself after an awful start, but finishes a single point short of safety, whilst Dan missed out on a chance of a final round escape. Velvet's high score contributed to Tim's downfall and she also pipped Martin on quite a few rounds. So Martin, Tim, Dan and Zohaib you are the Weakest Links. Goodbye!
Tim Down Thanks for organising another excellent tournament, Tass. Always a highlight of the Countdown year for me. Pretty disappointed to go out on what is usually a strong round for me but I missed a few so can't complain. |
Notes from the organizer: In round 19 the survivors will take on Velvet in a Nasty numbers attack. Large numbers are changed to 12, 37, 62 and 87 and Velvet will pick 2 large numbers and likely solve the majority of rounds. As an extra nasty twist we require 4 Weakest Links this round.
Some stats for this round:
Expected competitors: 17
Weakest Links required: 4
Most Nasty WL max games: 1 - Edward Ashcroft, Elliott Mellor, Sam Cappleman-Lynes, Tim Down
Most Nasty WL points scored: 1255 - Elliott Mellor
Highest average score (this year's entrants): 185.33 - Jack Worsley (3 games)
Previous rounds vs this bot: 2023 - Round 18 ( https://www.apterous.org/to_tourney.php?tourney=5299 )
For more stats see spreadsheet linked below.
FOUR lowest scoring Weakest Links will be leaving the tournament this round. If there is a tie for lowest scores then margin of victory/defeat will be taken into account amongst tied players followed, if necessary, by total score in the tournament so far (see notes by matches).
