On television, the Contender had to run the length of the Danger Zone while dodging projectiles fired by a Gladiator. (Yes, I know they had to hit a target as well, but there’s only so much I can adapt here.) Here, the Gladiator’s attacks come in the form of getting to pick every round. As it’s a Champions League, though, it’s 1 point for each round, so you’ve still got a fighting chance. A win gets you 10 points, and a draw or loss by 1 gets you 5.
