Notes from the organizer: In this tournament you will play games against other humans.

Alphabetical rules:
Your submitted words must be in alphabetical order through each game. Any word submitted that is alphabetically before a word used by that player in an earlier round of the game will be ignored. Also, any word submitted twice during a game by one player, whether valid or not, will be ignored. This effectively gives an option to cancel out a word from a previous round that you realise shouldn't have been submitted.

Format:
Stage A: A Touchdown letters attack game against Prune will be played by each player. If the number of entrants isn't divisible by 4 then the lowest scoring 1-3 players will leave the tournament. Players will be ranked on score (tiebreaks - number of rounds scored in, number of maxes, first to play)

Stage B: Players will be placed in seeded groups of 4 according to their stage A score. Each player will play one game against each of the other 3 players in their group. These games will be one in each of the formats Touchdown Junior LA, Touchdown LA, Hypertouch LA.

Stage C: Knockout stage. The top 16 players from the group stage will qualify for the seeded knockouts. The round of 16 games will be in Touchdown Junior format, the quarter-finals Touchdown and the semi-finals Hypertouch. The final will be a best of 3 with one game in each of those three formats. If there are fewer than 24 entrants then there will be no round of 16 stage. In the unlikely event of more than 64 entrants then there will need to be a last 32 round.
