Andy SC Note: The spreadsheet may take a bit of time to automatically update at times. This would be most likely to happen when a lot of games are played at same time or one after the other but it will update eventually.
Dave Robjohns It's when there are already people viewing the spreadsheet as they're just shown the cached version of what a previous person opened, rather than it accessing the apto page again to read updated results - so when everyone closes the spreadsheet it should update, but I guess that will mainly be at night!
| |
Dave Robjohns Also - due to increased number of players think you need to extend the formulae in columns D to O down a bit to not miss those extra games :)
Amar Chotai Also, even though they don't contribute to PR, why are these games rated just out of interest?
Rhys Benjamin Why shouldn't they be? They're human v human games and have to be recorded and stored.
Amar Chotai Yeah OK, fair enough then :)
Adam Dexter Request for the SS - can you please make it so that the P/W/D/L etc headings freeze so that those of us low down can still see what the numbers refer to :)
Andy SC @Adam - that's the rows frozen as requested.
Darren Godfrey If we ask about or attempt to initiate a game multiple times and the other person just doesn't bother replying or engaging, can we have the points? Asking for a friend
Matt Gould The whole thing is like completing a football sticker book. Most people have got an Aston but I’m feeling pleased to have snaffled a Pegram - pretty rare!
Stu Harkness I've still not completed my Euro 2020 one. Only need like 40 more. Must get that done...
Amar Chotai I'm sure you will find a way, Stu :)
Martyn Pegram I'd be one of the special metallic ones Matt. :)
Fiona T Hey all, I'm going to be away after next weekend for 3 weeks, so would be great to get my remaining games done this week - pretty flexible on timing, so let me know when suits!
J Bartram going anywhere nice?
Fiona T Off to Oz :) | |
Andres S. to see the wizard?
Jason Larsen No. Australia.
Amar Chotai Haha | |
Bailey Cowell James & I have a tourney up twice. Can this be corrected please?
Philip Aston I’ve had this bug a few times before, where a tourney game duplicates itself.
Andy SC Regarding the duplicate games, a few people have had this issue. There's nothing I can do to resolve the issue. The few other cases I knew about, I checked the tournament page and they only had one game showing up. For one case they couldn't challenge the player to the second game. As long as one game is played between two players I think that's the best thing to happen in this case.
Maria Chandler You’re right, Andy. Once one of the games I’d played, the other one disappears. Happened to me once or twice and sorted itself out as soon as it was played.
Andy SC Just under three weeks to go and just under 67% of games have been played. Keep up the good work in getting your games played.
Andy SC Just under two weeks to play any remaining games. Any unplayed games won't count but would be great to get them played.
Andy SC The Round Robin stage concludes next Friday. If you want to complete your remaining games I would advise sending Aptomails to your opponents (Don't add me to the Aptomails because any much unplayed won't count in anyway).
Adam Latchford 500 bonus points for finishing all my games? :D
Amar Chotai Would it be possible to extend it just for another week?
Andy SC @Amar - I feel six weeks is long enough. Therefore I'm going to stick to that deadline. Also, games might disappear after the deadline from people's challenges, therefore that means I would have to create another tournament page and add all remaining fixtures manually thus adding a lot of extra work that's not really necessary.
Amar Chotai Nah that's alright, fair enough. You do a great job in putting this tournament together each and every time, so many thanks as ever :)
Jason Larsen John Ashcroft, where are you?
Amar Chotai Do you mean Edward?
Jason Larsen Yes sir Amar!
Amar Chotai Lol, I knew there was someone called John Ashcroft, just couldn't remember who he was :)
Martyn Pegram I'll be on tonight, if anyone I haven't played is around, please challenge me.
J Bartram same here! | |
Paul James about most of this afternoon and most of tomorrow to finish off games
Andy SC Round robin stage completed. Thanks to everyone that played.
Amar Chotai Thanks as ever for organising, Andy :)
Rob Pattison Hi Everyone, I'd just like to apologise as I've had issues with my laptop keyboard which has prevented me from playing any more games.
Stu Harkness VWP, everyone.
Jason Larsen Thank you Stu!

Andy SC I love how Stu has done an R-Truth be pretended to be in this tournament throughout the Round Robin stage :)
Stu Harkness EC, anyone?
Andy SC I love how Stu has done an R-Truth and pretended to be in this tournament throughout the Round Robin stage.
Andy SC In Kane's voice "Stu, your not in the tournament"
Amar Chotai Missing out on the last 32 on Points Difference is tough to take, but that’s the way it goes sometimes :( |
Notes from the organizer: It's time for the Round Robin stage of Everything Counts X. Here is how the scoring works again:
- 4-Points for a win
- 2-Points for a draw
- 1-point for scoring 70+ points
- 1-point for losing by 10-points or less.
The top 32 players will advance to the knockout stages.
