Elliott Mellor

Elliott Mellor Congrats on the win Tom - a classy performance and I'm always happy coming in second to you.

Andres S. Well... this has been an absolute ride. Let's get to the placements.

Third place goes to both Dave Robjohns and Tom Cappleman, because c'mon it's fun to have more.

Second place goes to the wonderful Elliott Mellor, who's managed to put up a real fight against his opponents.

And the winner of this tournament, taking the gold medal... is Tom Carey! Proving himself to be a real formidable player across many formats, he definitely deserves to take the trophy here.

But honestly, in my heart, the winner goes to all of you who decided to give this a shot. I decided to make this tourney because I thought it would serve real well to honor the community that I've been able to be a part of for about two years now; I also did this for a giggle because of how well this all fit. Andres S. No words can truly describe the appreciation I have for you all, even the Hag family of course. I can't wait for more memories to make with you bunch AND visit the UK to play in many more tournaments! Thank you all so much, whether you know me or not, for being such a great member of this community. Here's to you all. <3

Thomas Carey

Thomas Carey Cheers for hosting Andres! Was good fun, and I certainly didn't have high hopes when faces with a goat-gauntlet (goatlet?) of George-TCap-Mellor :) hope to see you again soon!

Tourney round: Andres S.: The Tournament: The Final 8 - Grand Final

<< The Final 8 - Third Place Playoff

Notes from the organizer: Well, the third-place playoff didn't get played. So to be friendly again I'll have them both take the 3rd place spot if they want. You guys can still play a game to decide though and then link me the game, think I might be able to add it to the tournament page.

But regardless, the very FINAL game of the tournament is here — the battle between #4 seed Elliott Mellor and #2 seed Tom Carey. And what better way to celebrate this final match.. with the Goatathon - the mother of all Goat formats.

For scheduling, please state in the chat when you two will plan your game; specify the date and time. Other than that, I'm extending the period to a month.

With that in mind, good luck to you two... happy goating.

Ran from: 30 October – 2 November 2022. Format: Goatathon. Matches: One-off. Approved.
