	Mike Lee I’m sorry to be the party pooper on Stu here but is Gala really allowed???? The town is Galashiels and is just shortened to Gala for colloquial reasons.

	Mike Lee But according to the rules, it don’t count mate. According to Wikipedia, the only places in the world called Gala are in Iran, Tibet & Virginia. It just says Gala is a popular shortening of Galashiels.

Notes from the organizer: Here we go then. Everyone will have 3 games against Prune to rack up the most points they can, before the top 8 advance to the Round Robin. Remember only words that are both British village/town/city etc names AND valid Apterous words will count (so yes to READING but sadly no to STEVENAGE). If anyone feels like I've incorrectly adjudicated them, please send me a private message (and a wikipedia or google maps link or something) and we'll sort it out. Happy travels :)
