Notes from the organizer: The Apterous Olympic Committee is pleased to announce that the Apterous Winter Olympics 2022 will take place this February and March, featuring a variety of competitions guaranteed to delight Apterites of all persuasions. As is customary, participants will be divided into pseudo-national teams and pitted against one another in events that mimic the disciplines of the Winter Olympics to the maximum extent that the limited imagination of the Organiser allows.

This year, there will be fifteen Winter Olympic events, details of which can be found here:

and also, for exact details, on the individual tourney pages which should be up soon if they aren’t already. In addition, there will be two events that sadly do not yet correspond to actual Winter Olympic sports:

The Snowball Fight (https://www.apterous.org/to_tourney.php?tourney=4007).

These have their own tournament pages (see links above). If you wish, you can sign up for these tournaments without taking part in any other Apterous Winter Olympic tourneys. Please do so on the linked pages.


To Participate:

In order to take part, prospective Aptolympians should sign up by clicking the appropriate button below. This will enter you into all available tournaments (including The Best Snowman Competition and The Snowball Fight). If you wish to enter tournaments selectively, you should click the aforementioned button before sending the Organiser an aptomail to communicate in which events you do or do not wish to take part, whereupon the Organiser will be delighted to accommodate you.

If you have further questions or desire clarification of any kind, please feel free to send the Organiser an aptomail.
