Piaras Last-Name

Piaras Last-Name I feel like I might allow two more days just as a trial run in case a week is too short – I'll see how it goes and if we get the games played in time then I think each round'll be 9 days in future.

Piaras Last-Name

Piaras Last-Name Inadvertently given 14 days instead — I WILL stick to 9 for the rest. I must, lest total anarchy take hold and evil consume the lands!

Tourney round: Apto-Chess Championship: Grand Swiss Tournament: Round 1

<< Grand Swiss Tournament: Sign-Ups | Grand Swiss Tournament: Round 2 >>

Notes from the organizer: And we're off! Each round is going to be a week long, apart from around Christmas/New Year, I'll give yous two weeks for that. Wins are one point, draws are half a point, and defeats are no points. The website I'm using to generate these fixtures will make sure everybody plays as "White" and "Black" roughly the same amount of times so that nobody has an advantage. Apart from that, it's pretty much the same.

I don't know how well I'll be able to account for unplayed games, as I understand a lot of you are busy and a Swiss tournament needs every fixture to be played, but if you let me know beforehand, I'll try and see if I can schedule something. The top two finishers get a place in the ending "Candidates' Tournament" — gl to all of yous!

Ran from: 15 – 21 November 2021. Format: Champions League. Matches: One-off. Approved.
