Tourney round: Everything Counts IX: Sign-up page
Notes from the organizer: Everything Counts is back for its 9th edition. If the 8th edition is anything to go by, this edition is going to extremely competitive.
The format will remain the same but here is the format for those that are not familiar. The tournament will start with a massive round robin tournament where everybody plays everybody in a 9-round game. Once the round robin stage is complete, so many players will advance to the knockout stages (this depends entirely on how many players sign-up. Players will somewhere between 6-8 weeks to play the games (Again, depends how many players sign-up).
The points scoring system for the knockout stage is as follows:
4 Points for a win
2 Points for a draw
1 Bonus Point for scoring 70+ points
1 Bonus Point for losing by less than 10 points .
In the knockout stage of the tournament all ties will be Best-of-3 9-rounders up to and including the semi final. The final will be a best-of-5 15-rounder match to decide the overall champion.
The Round Robin stage will start on the 25th September.
