| Rhys Benjamin We've got to 30 signer-uppers, so we will have semi finals. There will be a semi final allocation draw when sign-ups close: what form this will take I'm not sure, but it will not have a "big 5" nor will players' standards ("the songs") be taken into account, as per the actual Eurovision (where the semi final draw is made before the songs are finalised). |

Tourney round: Eurovision Song Contest 2021: Sign-Ups
Notes from the organizer: Welcome to a brand new tournament with a quirky scoring system. It came to me in a dream, and having sounded out a few people no one appears to massively hate the idea, so here goes:
It's a 9-round round robin, but you award points to the highest scorers against you. The highest scorer against you will get 12 points from you, then 10 points for the second-highest scorer, then 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and finally 1 point for the tenth highest scorer against you.
It's simple enough, really.
SIGN-UPS OPEN FOR TWO WEEKS: CLOSING DATE 6 MAY 2021. More than 30 signer-uppers and I'll consider semi finals, as per the actual contest. In those, the top 10 will all go through to the final and your games against your fellow qualifiers will be carried forward.
