 | Philip Aston Obviously these hold ups are frustrating but, as I said before in another tournament that got held up and had players "retiring", I think the problem with these tournaments is that most former Countdown contestants lose interest in playing once they've had their run on the show to a point where they can't be allowed to return. They have other fish to fry. I know for a fact Zarte doesn't want to play, after 7 years of practice he's a Grand Slam winner. What else is there to prove? Mental health protection is important too, and sometimes you just have to let sleeping dogs lie.
