	Phil Collinge Amie becomes not only the first player to complete their matches but the first player to qualify for the Quarter-Finals. A 10-0 record seals 1st place in Group D.
	Phil Collinge With Group D almost complete, Karen Pearson can also now be confirmed in the Q-Fs with 2nd place in the group.

	Phil Collinge With several matches still to play in Group A, Marcus Hares is now confirmed as group winner. 3 players remain in contention for second spot.
	Phil Collinge Tim Down has now sealed 1st place in Group B with 11 wins from 11.
	Phil Collinge Group B is now resolved with Mark Tournoff qualifying in 2nd place.
	Phil Collinge John Beresford qualifies top of Group C. A very tight battle for 2nd was eventually won by Matthew Tassier with just one more win than the next three protagonists.
	Phil Collinge 2nd place in Group A remained unresolved with just Paul James and Sean D still in contention. With the group stage now complete, a Best of 5 play-off between the two will determine who plays Tim Down in the Quarter-Finals.

Notes from the organizer: Apterous Seniors Championship 2019 commences on 21st January 2019 with four groups each providing two Quarter-Finalists.

Each pairing will contest two separate 15 Round matches with ties enabled. 2 points will be awarded for each win, 1 point for each tie.

The Group Stage will run from 21st January 2019 to 3rd March 2019.

Group placings will be determined by the following criteria :
1) League Points Scored (as above)
2) Total Game Points Difference
3) Total Game Points Scored
4) Head to Head result/s between tied players
5) Sudden Death Play-Off

This format is reliant on all group matches being completed. Please make every effort to complete your matches as, even if your own qualification is not directly affected, somebody else's might be.

In the event that qualification placings are directly affected by unplayed games, a play-off may be required to determine final standings.

Quarter Final draw will be as follows :
Group A Winner v Group B Runner-Up
Group C Winner v Group D Runner-Up
Group B Winner v Group A Runner-Up
Group D Winner v Group C Runner-Up

Quarter-Finals will likely close Sunday 17th March 2019.

Semi-Final draw will be as follows :
Winner QF1 v Winner QF2
Winner QF3 v Winner QF4

Semi-Finals will likely close Sunday 31st March 2019.
