Tourney round: Weakest Link - Conundrums: Sign-ups

Round 1 - Junior >>

Notes from the organizer: With thanks to Marcus Hares and Matthew Tassier (and anyone else I don't know about) for their success with this format in the past, here is a Weakest Link tournament with Conundrum rounds!

Starting with the easier variants and progressing to the toughest ones, in each round everyone will play a Conundrum Attack against Apterous Prune, with the player(s) achieving the lowest score for the round being eliminated as the field is whittled down. This will continue until there are only 2 players left, who will face off in a grand final - details of which are to come, but note that having the highest total score for the tournament will be an advantage here.

Starting from Monday 17th, two rounds will be played each week, with up to 2 weeks available to play each game (rounds will overlap - and if you ever need more time than is available, aptomail me and I'll see what I can do) with 1 or 2 players being eliminated per round depending on the number of entrants. Ties will be broken by the total time used for correct solves, with the slowest being eliminated.

Whether you expect to be left standing at the end or just want to have a bit of fun - don't be hesitant to sign up. I mean, I'll be playing and I certainly won't stand a chance at the later stages, if I get that far :) best of luck to everyone!
