Martin Hurst

Martin Hurst A massive thank you to Matthew for offering to pick this up in place of the original scheduled event which never got further than "awaiting approval". The number in the Notes column are the additional points earned from qualifying to be added to the scores in this round to decide the final standings.

Andy SC

Andy SC Is this open to anybody or just the 20 that qualified?

Martin Hurst

Martin Hurst Yep - anyone can enter - you'll just need to click on "sign me up" if you weren't in the top 20 of qualifying, or didn't take part in qualifying.

Andy SC

Andy SC Yeah i went back and read it properly. Good to read things properly before asking but thank you anyway. :)

Gevin Chapwell

Gevin Chapwell I've got a new aero package and improved suspension scheduled for the next race, so I'll be expecting to be more competitive there.

Tourney round: Formula One Large - Event 1 : Australia: Main race

Notes from the organizer: Set up on behalf of Martin Hurst, who will remain in charge of any queries/rulings/clarifications!

Lockdown rules: The first number selected, highlighted in red, must be used in your solution. Note that the solution is still valid even if the red number leads to a "dead end"; for example, if 2 were the red number and 225 the target, 6-2=4, 3x75 = 225 would be a valid solution.

The additional actual race points earned in qualifying will be added to your actual race score for a final total, which will determine the final grand prix standings (for example, if Dave Noble scores 190 in the actual race, his total will be 12.5 (for qualifying) + 190 (actual race score) = 202.5)

Points will then be allocated at the end of each grand prix the same way Formula 1 points are allocated: 1st place - 25 points; 2nd -18; 3rd - 15; 4th -12; 5th - 10; 6th - 8; 7th - 6; 8th - 4; 9th - 2; 10th – 1. The person with the highest number of accumulated points at the end of the season will be declared the champion!

You don’t have to have finished in the top 20, or even participated at all, in qualifying to enter the actual race, but obviously you will be at a disadvantage as you won’t have any additional points to start with.

Anyone who earned additional points in qualifying will be automatically added to the main race fixtures with their additional points in their notes box below. Anyone of these does not take part in the actual race will be adjudged to have “crashed” in the race.

Ties (after taking into account the additional race points earned from qualifying) will be determined firstly by points scored in the actual race alone, secondly by number of maxes in the actual race, thirdly by number of maxes in qualifying, and finally (unless it is a max game) by the lowest bot opponent score in the actual race. Positions (and grand prix points) will be shared if still a tie.

Ran from: 4 – 9 April 2017. Format: Lockdown Numbers Attack. Matches: One-off. Approved.

Organizers: Matthew Tassier.

Fixtures: 32. Completed: 32.
