Help: Troubleshooting: getting started
So you've signed up for apterous and you want to play, but there's a problem. When you click Play, the game doesn't load or you can't start a game for some reason. This page will help solve your problem.
Website maintenance
The game is sometimes unavailable for short periods. Check the list of recent games page - if there haven't been any games completed in the last 15 minutes or so on the list then the game is probably temporarily out of service. Please check back later!
Performance
If the game starts but is slow or unreliable, see our general Troubleshooting page.
Still having problems
If you've tried all of the above and still cannot play, please 
e-mail me directly with the details. I'll do my best to help.
