![]() | Jon Stammers Ha! I misread this and spent the last few days practising Instant Numbers Attack which I was finding really tough. Only realised after finally accepting the challenge that it was Speed Numbers Attack and a little bit easier. |
Notes from the organizer: So far so good, but It's time to pick up the pace now as round nine will be a Speed Numbers Attack against Apterous Caesar and we need 4 Weakest Links. Caesar is pretty useless here under the 10 second time control and likes to pick 2 large numbers.
Some stats for this round:
Expected competitors: 54
Weakest Links required: 4
Most Strongest Links: 3 - Elliott Mellor
Highest average WL Speed score (3+ games): Elliott Mellor 184 (9 games)
Biggest victory against this bot: 191 points - Matthew Brockwell (2023)
Highest scoring Speed Weakest Link: 145 - Jon Elmer (2023)
Previous Speed round vs. this bot: 2024 Round 6 ( https://www.apterous.org/to_tourney.php?tourney=6050 )
For more stats see spreadsheet linked below.
The FOUR lowest scoring players will leave the tournament this round. If there is a tie for lowest scores then margin of victory/defeat will be taken into account amongst tied players followed, if necessary, by total score in the tournament so far (see notes by matches below).
