Notes from the organizer: Team USA recovered on Saturday to leave us finely poised at Europe 9 USA 7.

So onto Sunday and the decisive singles session. Everyone plays across 12 matches and we each tackle a Bullet Letters Attack against Prune.

Singles

In the singles, everyone plays and is matched up against their opposing numbered player. Again, round 19 and 20 don’t count.

Scoring is the same as above. Every round you score with a longer word than your opponent wins the hole. The winner is the person who wins the most holes (rounds 1-18) and they will score one point towards their team’s overall score. Drawn matches are ‘halved’ with each player earning 1/2 a point.
