It's time to dust off your spandex and be chucked out quicker than Santino Marella or last as long as Gunther or Roxanne Perez. That's right, it's time for the only wrestling themed tournament on Apterous.... ROYAL RUMBLE!!!!

The draw for the Individual and Tag Team Royal Rumble entry order will take place at 8pm on the 13th September.

THE DEADLINE for each game will appear in the notes section next to each game as the end date for each tournament page will be set a long time ahead so I don't have to create a new tournament page for each round.

For this year players will have 24-hours to complete each game as defined by the time stamp on the Aptomail that will be sent out for each round of each of the tournaments (any time beyond on the 24-hours will be at my discretion or my availability at the time of the 24-hours being up for doing the necessary tournament admin).

This year, we will have the Individual Royal Rumble, Tag Team Royal Rumble and The Battle Royal. All the rules are listed below. The Battle Royal Repechage might happen again depending how many go out in round one.

If you sign-up, I will assume that you wish to enter all three events. Alternatively you can enter what you want but you will be required to let me know. All games will be against Prune.

ROYAL RUMBLE - INDIVIDUAL
1. Two players will enter the tournament in Round 1.
2. A new player will enter each subsequent round.
3. To remain in the tournament each round you must score within 25% of the highest score of the round.
4. Failure to play a game will result in elimination.
5. The round after the last player enters, the percentage threshold will decrease by 1% each round until there is a winner.

ROYAL RUMBLE - TAG TEAM
1. Players will be seeded into teams based on the pro ranks from the week sign-ups close.
2. From all the players that participate, someone from the top half of the seeding will be drawn with someone from the bottom half.
3. Two teams will start in Round 1.
4. A new team will enter each subsequent round.
5. To remain in the tournament, each team must score within 20% of the highest scoring team.
6. The round after the last team enters, the percentage threshold will decrease by 1% until we have a winner.

BATTLE ROYAL
1. Everyone that sign-ups will start in Round 1.
2. To remain in the tournament each round you must score within 25% of the highest scoring player.
3. Once we get to 10 or under 10 players then the percentage threshold will decrease by 1% each round until we have a winner.
4. Anybody that is eliminated in Round 1 will drop to the Battle Royal Repechage.

All games will be Standard 15 against Apterous Prune.

If games are discounted during the tournament they will be dealt with in the following ways:

For the individual Royal Rumble and Battle Royal, if a player has a game discounted then all their other games for the tournament will be declared null and void and they shall be removed from the tournament. If any of their games in the tournament resulted in players being eliminated then these eliminated players will be judged against the next highest scorer. If they fall within the elimination threshold then they will remain eliminated and if they don’t then they will be allowed back into the tournament from the round after they were eliminated. If any player allowed back in through this means then gets a score that would result in a player being eliminated, then the player would then be eliminated at that stage of the tournament and any eliminations they might have picked up in future rounds will then be dealt with in the same way and so on.

For the tag team Royal Rumble, if a player has a game discounted then all their team's games will be declared null and void and the offending player will be removed from the tournament. However, the innocent player will be allowed to remain in the tournament and will be provided with a new tag-team partner (provided the team has actually not been eliminated from the tournament) and will continue in the round that their team had got up to. The rest of the process shall be the same as the Individual Royal Rumble and Battle Royal.

Runs from: 20 August – 13 September 2026. Format: 15 Rounder. Matches: One-off. Level scores: Tie-breakers played. Approved.
