Joshua Mccune And here I was imagining it would be a multilingual tournament where only words that have appeared in Eurovision songs would be allowed... although that does sound quite tempting.

Tourney round: Eurovision Song Contest: 2026: Sign-Ups

<< 2025: Grand Final

Notes from the organizer: Slightly later than normal, welcome along to the sixth Apterous Eurovision Song Contest.

This is quite a simple idea with a difficult scoring system:

It's a 9-round round robin, but you "award points" to the highest scores against you. The highest scorer against you will get 12 points from you, then 10 points for the second-highest scorer, then 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and finally 1 point for the tenth highest scorer against you.

It's simple enough, really.

SIGN-UPS OPEN FOR 7 DAYS: CLOSING DATE MONDAY 1 JUNE 2026. More than 30 signer-uppers will trigger semi-finals, this will result in players being split into two pots and the top 10 in each semi final progressing into the final proper.

Runs from: 25 May – 1 June 2026. Format: 9 Rounder. Matches: One-off. Approved.

Organizers: Rhys Benjamin.

Fixtures: 0. Completed: 0.
