![]() | Tal Lessner Yeah, that's me out, not even a "let's say goodbye here and hope this will do the trick out". What a nightmare of a match |
![]() | Chris Butler Ouch, there were some horrible rounds there :/ |

![]() | George Ford But it works Tal - it works!! |
![]() | Chris Hare Whatever the manager said to me at half time, it clearly had the desired effect. |
![]() | Matthew Tassier Elliott's storming form this year continues as he notches up an impressive 5th Strongest Link in the tournament thanks to just the 3rd Speed max game in WL Numbers. |
![]() | Matthew Tassier A very tough game for the reigning champion Tal, and here he leads a group of 4 strong players heading for the exit. Martin, Nick, Neil and Tal you are the Weakest Links. Goodbye! |
![]() | Tal Lessner Thanks for another great tourney Tass.

Notes from the organizer: Less than 30 players remain and those that do must now pick up the pace once more as round sixteen is a Speed Numbers Attack against Apterous Prime. Prime is surprisingly inconsistent here in the sharp 10 second rounds and likes to pick the ticklish 3 large numbers.
Some stats for this round:
Expected competitors: 28
Weakest Links required: 4
Most WL Speed max games: 1 - Chris Butler, Bradley Horrocks
Most Strongest Links: 2 - Elliott Mellor
Highest average WL Speed score (3+ games): Elliott Mellor 182 (8 games)
Highest scoring Speed Weakest Link: 145 - Jon Elmer (2023)
Previous Speed rounds vs. this bot: 2022 Round 15 ( https://www.apterous.org/to_tourney.php?tourney=4462 ), 2021 Round 16 ( https://www.apterous.org/to_tourney.php?tourney=3845 )
For more stats see spreadsheet linked below.
FOUR lowest scoring Weakest Links will be leaving the tournament this round. If there is a tie for lowest scores then margin of victory/defeat will be taken into account amongst tied players followed, if necessary, by total score in the tournament so far (see notes by matches).
