Tourney round: Make The Odds: Season 3 - MTO FINALS: Stage #2

<< Season 3 - MTO FINALS: Stage #1 | Season 3 - Grand Final >>

Notes from the organizer: First stage of the final is done!

Unfortunately, we must say goodbye to both Wesley Barton and Ian Volante, who received scores of 77.35 and 75.96, respectively. You both did excellently in coming this far, but both your runs must come to an end. Thank you.

Now let's do a stats dig on our players.

Tom Cappleman has been a very formidable player, consistently ranking within the top four in every preliminary and winning against every other player in the first stage of the final. He finishes the first stage of the final with a percentage of 96.49 (604/626).

Matthew Brockwell, despite winning the most bronzes, has put up very fierce competition. Not only has he managed to force a crucial conundrum against Tom Cappleman, but his combined raw score versus his given score has a difference of 9, further showing his true consistency (for comparison, Tom's raw and given score gives a difference of 17). His final score is a 592 out of 654 (90.52%).

Mike Lee hasn't lost his touch and has played against his opponents pretty well. So much so, he matched his opponents 27 times in both letters and numbers solutions. With a final score of 537/619 (86.75), Mike has very much earned a spot in the next stage.

David Holmes, fresh before and after his debut on television, has shown true game as a newcomer to Apterous. Despite losing more games than winning them, he has managed to score above the 80 percentile with words like HERMETIC, STUMPAGES, and LUMMOX, to name a few. His score after Stage 1 is 81.02 (538/664).

And that's our fab four, now let's whittle it down to our final duo! This next stage will last two weeks. Best of luck to everyone!
