![]() | David Holmes Having never played Greek before I just attempted a quick 9 round practice. The site did not recognise or allow me to enter anything on my phone keyboard (and I only play on my phone) , even where letters are identical to the English alphabet. Is there a way around this or do I just have to accept scoring 0 on all letters rounds in this one? |
![]() | Florence C-L You can click on the letters in the selection :) |
![]() | Elwin Carlos You can tap / click on the letters that appear on the screen, David. :) |
![]() | Elwin Carlos Not that it made much difference to my score! |
![]() | David Holmes Σας ευχαριστώ! |
![]() | Richard Decker At the risk of sounding like an idiot, is this modern Greek or Ancient Greek (he says, wondering if he needs to dig out his Ancient Greek GCSE revision to practice...) |
![]() | Tom Cappleman I think modern, and as its lengths only go up to 15 I'm assuming it's a Greek Scrabble list |
![]() | Martin Thomas I think it is mainly modern but some ancient words might also be allowed. |
![]() | J Bartram It's all Greek to me. |
![]() | Last Ashwin Hero Didn't have a clue what I was doing with this version of the game lol |
![]() | Mark Jeary-Fairbairn As I’m almost certainly the weakest link by mistyping two of my numbers games, can I clarify is it the lowest score or the lowest score after any points from prune? |

![]() | Trevor MacEoin working off the score sheet it appears that prunes scores on conundrum don't count Mark. That would be the case in other tourneys i've participated in too. |
![]() | Richard Decker Apologies, I would have played that in one sitting but Apterous crashed on me during my first round! |
![]() | Mark Jeary-Fairbairn Cheers Trevor. Thought so... ah well |
![]() | Tom Cappleman The good news is that rounds 1a and 1b are being counted together, so you're comfortably safe Mark |
![]() | Mark Jeary-Fairbairn That was my next question! Thanks Tom |
