Notes from the organizer: The final round at Sawgrass is about holding your nerve, especially for Matthew B who has a healthy 9 shot lead at the top. That 9 shot lead is however over Tom C, a man who has a habit of making 100 yard chip-ins look like 2-foot tap-ins, so nothing is assured.

In the team standings, it’s hard to see past the Range Goats or Majesticks as things stand, but again, things can change quickly.

We finish with a Deepdown Letters Attack which means you’re trying to spot the highest scoring word that isn’t the max. Eagles are attainable for an 8, but a triple bogey awaits you if you get greedy and accidentally declare the max. Be warned!

One or two early mistakes could see things close up very quickly and there are probably 10+ people contending for a top 5 spot.

The iconic 17th and its island green comes into play in the final round with scores being doubled for this hole i.e. a -2 will actually score you -4 and conversely a +3 would score you +6, which means that this hole alone is capable of giving us a 10 shot swing in the best / worst circumstances.

A reminder that R19 and then R20 will act as the play-off holes should players be tied for overall score after 72 holes, so don’t down tools after R18.
