![]() | Andy SC If there is a tie for fastest conundrum solve, I assume you will use the second fastest conundrum solve for the specified rounds to separate ties? |

![]() | Trevor Potts good question Andy. The first tiebreak criteria is the earliest solve takes precedence, because that's how F1 does it (e.g if it's Q3 and I get a 0.6 solve in round 19 but oyu get one in round 18, you get pole position).

![]() | Trevor Potts Okay folks now we have 30 drivers in this pre-season test here's your first glance at the results: a script is currently scraping your results and filling out the Quali timesheet:
|
![]() | Trevor Potts I will share the testing race results spreadsheets on that page once we have a starting grid for it confirmed. That will happen when one of the following criteria is met:

![]() | Thomas Carey am i too late? think i go up to p8 if not. smashed first two rounds and then forgot how to do anagrams when it mattered |
![]() | Trevor Potts you're too late for the first test, so you're in test 2. There's a timesheet for that on the google sheets link. Just not enough drivers yet to fully populate it. Still 3 weeks left of the test before the season kicks off so hopefully will get a few more signups before then to get two full grid test results. |
Notes from the organizer: Everyone who signs up for the 2025 season as either a full-time or reserve driver will be given a test game here. This scores no championship points but allows you to practise the gameplay and me to demonstrate how the scoring will work via some spreadsheets which I will share in the comments when ready.
Qualifying mechanism*:
Q1: The 15 players with the fastest single conundrum solve time in the first 10 rounds of their conundrum attack will progress to Q2. The remaining 5 will be sorted in order of their fastest solve time and their starting grid position for the race will be P16-P20 accordingly.
Q2: The 10 players with the fastest single conundrum solve time in the rounds 11-16 of their conundrum attack will progress to Q3. The remaining 5 will be sorted in order of their fastest solve time in rounds 11-16 and their starting grid position for the race will be P11-P15 accordingly.
Q3: Players will be ordered in order of their fastest conundrum solve in rounds 17-20 and their starting grid position for the race will be P1-P10 accordingly.
* This assumes a 20-driver grid. If we have a different number of participants, the number of players who progress to each stage will be adjusted accordingly.
Remember there is no penalty for incorrect guesses in qualifying. Go all out for that fastest solve time.
