Fi Thorne

Fi Thorne Hi Piaras, I played my first game but I'm not sure if I'm playing it correctly. Am I basically just playing a normal game of Berserk/Bullet. Or am I supposed to do something different to tie in with the fudgeathon theme?

Piaras Last-Name Just a normal game is fine :)

Ravi Choudhary Prefer the Bullet games - they give you more of an opportunity to demonstrate your fudging ability than a Berserk game.

Tourney round: idea test: fudgeathon

<< a | fudgeathon berserkified >>

Notes from the organizer: Hello hello :) I'm on the hunt for volunteers to test an idea I've got for a tourney based around fudging. In an apto-context, fudging is the practice of picking a letter/target and then trying to fashion a word/method out of what you have in the tiny amount of time you're given after the round timer has ended. I think it's a decent idea, but I want to test if enough people will find it worth joining, and where exactly I should toe the line between difficulty and accessibility.

You'll be playing two Bullet 9s (they'll be over quickly) and one Berserk 9, both against Prune. Please let me know via this googleform if you felt it was fun, or engagingly difficult, or worth your time, or none of these things. (https://forms.gle/Eo6SsZMMnjKjjRqu7)

A few tips for those new to Berserk/Bullet:
— Letters: have a letter in mind before the last one is picked, and type that out as soon as possible so that you can focus on the rest of the word. It's not a foolproof strategy, especially not against the superhumans that normally play games that quickly, but it should get you along pretty nicely.
— Numbers: you may want to be ready to click on the target as soon as it appears. This will save you rushing to type it in and possibly making a mistake. If you think it's easier to add an Instant NA to this test (which is like a bullet nums but with the target clicked for you) pls let me know and I'll get it done.

cheers and happy testing! :)
