Notes from the organizer: The World Matchplay is a versus competition, but matches will be played against Prune in various Attacks. Your score will be compared to your drawn opponents score in the corresponding round and whoever scores higher will win that hole and score 1 point in the match. Tied rounds see each players get 1/2 point. The person with the most points after 18 rounds of the attack (18 holes of golf) will win the match. If a match is tied after 18 holes, then rounds 19 and 20 will act as play-off hole 1 and 2 respectively. If matches are still level, a replay across the same format is scheduled.
We have 43 members, but I’m limiting this tournament to 40 players because we have had a few players who’ve been inactive for the last few tournaments (M S R, Jamie F & Matty A are non-starters).
Our 16 lowest ranked players will play a preliminary round to decide who qualifies for the last-32 (rank 1-24 receive a bye into last 32).
