Dave Kempshall

Dave Kempshall Reminder that I forgot to put in the notes. Each round here only counts R1-18 of your attack (to reflect an 18 hole round of golf).

Dan Spinks

Dan Spinks Dave, I think you've missed R2, the NA unless I'm not understanding something

Dave Kempshall

Dave Kempshall I switched the order around a bit to try and replicate a bit of final round risk and reward strategy. The NA will now be the final round.

Jon Pinyan

Jon Pinyan The "scorecard" on Google Docs lists Round 4 as Standard LA. That one's a numbers, right?

Dave Kempshall

Dave Kempshall Yes, that's right Jon - fixed now.

Notes from the organizer: If you’re not already a APGA Tour member, but would like to get involved, now would be the time to sign-up as the tour ramps up with The Players Championship closely followed by The Masters and major season.

Dave R is the current world number 1 with T-Cap closely following him in 2nd after three tournaments. Dan B, Adam L, Florence C-L and Thomas C are leading the chasing pack.

The Players Championship - affectionally known as the 5th major - is where the tour really kicks-in at Sawgrass - one of golf’s most iconic courses.

A Tier 3 event means there are more points on offer and - as such - the challenge sees us take on four rounds for the first time this season.

Rounds 1-3 will go live together on 11th March to ensure a good chance of everyone getting them completed. Round 4 will go live at 00:00 on 15th March.

It’s a move back to golf scoring (i.e. scoring to a par system) and the variants will be:

1. Speed LA - Prune
2. Standard NA - Prune
3. Goatdown LA - Prune
4. Deepdown LA - Prune

Lowest score to par takes the crown. Any ties will be firstly by two play-off holes (round 19 and 20 in the final round) and then by best round score in Round 4, then Round 3, then 2, then 1.

Round 1 fixtures and rules are on this page, others are on subsequent pages.

Leaderboard and further tour info can be found here (use the tabs for schedule, rankings, honours boards etc.) - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/13uskP03HX3ksRAYRoCZso2K__WUMEL0q/edit#gid=1592695934&range=A1:D1

Speed LA against Prune, so you’ll need to be snappy. Scoring to par is:

9 - Eagle
8 - Birdie
7 - Par
6 - Bogey
5 - Double bogey
4 or worse - Triple bogey

Good luck!
