Notes from the organizer: Fancy a quick fire bot tourney with a twist? This is 999. The concept is quite simple:
9 - you'll be playing standard 9 rounder games
9 - you'll be playing each of the 9 Apterous bots once in rating order
9 - if your final in game score (not raw score) finishes as a multiple of 9, your score for that round will be tripled
Sounds easy enough, but a tricky con or a masterfully annoying spot from Plum could throw your plans for big scores awry.
Each round will last a single day, with the first vs Prune being Saturday 23 March and the final vs Rex being Sunday 30 March. All games to be played on their allotted day and in a single sitting, but as you've only a 9R to play each day that shouldn't be a big ask ;) . The winner will be the person who accrues the most points (inc triple bonuses) after all 9 days.
Sign ups will be open from now until Thursday 21 March to give me a day after to start setting up the games. Any questions, ask away. Let's be havin' you!
