Notes from the organizer: Onto the second and final round at the Farmers Insurance Open.
The sun is shining and the galleries are packed. It’s time to crown our first tournament champion of the season and we have plenty of golfers in with a shout for victory.
Thomas C destroyed the course in the first round with a max -9 to take a healthy lead into the final round. Darren G is just one shot back on -8.
Many are still in contention though with Dan B, Martin T and defending champion Dave R all on -6, T-Cap lurking on -5 and a host of others sitting on -4 and -3.

It’s another game against Prune - this time you’ll play a Junior 9-Rounder with slightly wider scoring to separate the field.
Scoring is as follows:
1. Seven letter word + exact numbers solve + conundrum solve = birdie
2. Six letter word = par
3. Five letter word = bogey
4. Anything worse than five letters + any non-exact numbers solve or no score at numbers + non-solved conundrum = double bogey
Hopefully we emerge with a clear winner across the two rounds, but any ties will be decided by a ‘play-off’.

3. Quickest conundrum in Round 2.
