Tourney round: Apterous Presidential Election 2024: Sign-Ups
Notes from the organizer: It's baaaaaack. The Apterous Presidential Election 2024 is here! President Dave Robjohns is up for re-election, and it's time to do so a maniacal way
Each of you play one game vs Prune to win a certain number of electoral votes per state. Person with the highest score takes the lot. It's different to last time, however...
PRIMARIES
So all entrants will play all games as individuals to start with. We will go around the states, etc. To whittle down to the top 2. THEN...
CAMPAIGN
Once the top two are selected, they will go head-to-head in every state, all over again. Same formats, different order. However, they will pick the failed primary candidates as team-mates.
The scores from all players are added up, whichever team gets the most takes that state.
The presidential nominee has their score x5. They will pick a running-mate for Vice President. Their score will be x2. All others score as standard.
We're in the long-haul, a variety of formats, and I'm sure some slightly crazy competition. Will #Robjohns2024 get a second term? Or does someone else have eyes on it?
