Perry Sarb Just so yous know, I haven't vanished off the face of the earth — just had a couple of laptop issues. I've updated the spreadsheet but I can only really attend to this at library/other people's computers, so updates may be sparse over the next wee while.

Scores as I make them:
Matty 12–2 Wesley
(2 events done, 2 in progress)
Steven 0–0 Jason
(1 event done)
MSR 0–10 Fiona
(2 events in progress)
Colin 12–2 Alex
(1 event done, 2 in progress)
Andy 0–0 Darren
(3 events in progress)
Mich 5–2 Dan
(2 events done, 3 in progress)
Liam 20–12 Adam
(2 events done, 2 in progress)
Adrian 5–0 J Bartram
(4 events in progress)

Perry Sarb Been a bit busy, so I kind of forgot about the deadline. Given that some events have been played after then and I said there'd be a spare week before the Eliminators anyway, I've decided to take the break out and move the deadline to Halloween night :)

Tourney round: Gladiators: Take 2 — First Round (Fixtures/Tiebreakers)

<< First Round (Fixtures/Tiebreakers)

Notes from the organizer: OK, turns out there was something else to mention. I forgot JB :P Thanks to Euan Crabb's very kind assistance (and Jack Worsley's good eye, and Adam Latchford's quick SOS draw) the first round fixtures are here:

Matty Artell vs Wesley Barton
Steven Oldham vs Jason Turner
MSR vs Fiona T
Colin Thompson vs Alex Williamson
Andy SC vs Darren Godfrey
Mich R vs Dan Spinks
Liam O vs Adam Dexter
Adrian Fletcher vs J Bartram
meaning Dave K, Dave R, Edward, Fi, John, Ashwin, Tass and Mike get to wait a wee bit longer to take on the Gladiators. Originally Adrian was slated to join them, but then we'd have too many people left, so Adam happened to draw number 1. (Sorry, man.)

Before you play the events, I suggest taking one more wee peek at the tourney pages for each one to remind yourself of the rules before getting into it. On the spreadsheet (link below) you'll also find a list of the rules for each event on the first page, and a detailed list of the events in each match on the "First Round Recaps" page. They're all going to go out simultaneously, so you don't need to get them done in any order. After each event is played, I'll leave a wee comment to confirm the result and, if necessary, why.

Fixtures will be actually put down below once the Eliminators begin to roll around. A Single Conundrum will be scheduled, which will serve as a tiebreaker in the (very unlikely) event of a dead heat. But *only* in a dead heat. It won't count otherwise.

After a double check to make sure everyone's accounted for, I actually properly definitely don't think there's anything else at all on Earth to mention this time, so get your shin pads on and jee ell jee ell! :))

Ran from: 4 October – 15 November 2023. Format: Single Conundrum. Matches: One-off. Approved.

Organizers: Perry Sarb.

Fixtures: 1. Completed: 1.
