Thomas Carey

Thomas Carey Sam will be favoured because it's literally impossible for me to not finish second in this tourney :)

(had a few more close calls than I would have liked but...)

Matthew Tassier

Matthew Tassier Good game guys, just one round in it through the first 17 rounds of the game. And while it's pretty astonishing that Thomas has finished 2nd in all three Mayhem tournaments held over the years, congratulations must of course go to the deserving Weakest Link Mayhem 2023 Champion, Sam!

Thanks to all who took part in the biggest Mayhem yet, hope to see many of you in the Numbers version in a month or two. Goodbye! *disturbing wink*

Fiona T

Fiona T Congrats Sam! My WL vote is for a super-fluid - that really was mayhem! :D

Callum Todd

Callum Todd Sam if you're winning Weakest Link I think you should try climb the Multitalented leaderboards, you'd probably do okay :)

Sam Cappleman-Lynes

Sam Cappleman-Lynes I can see there's some room for improvement.

Tourney round: Weakest Link Mayhem 2023: Round 54 - FINAL - Speed Letters Attack

<< Round 53 - Latin Conundrum Attack

Notes from the organizer: For the grand final of the competition the last two competitors will play head-to-head for glory in a single game shoot out in a randomly chosen format. Cranking up the Random Round Generator for the last time, it will be a Speed LA game to decide our champion.

Tale of the tape:
Sam - 4996 tournament points, 6 * Strongest Link, 34 times outscoring Thomas, first Mayhem tournament, Speed LA top score: 156.
Thomas - 4513 tournament points, 3 * Strongest Link, 18 times outscoring Sam, 2nd Mayhem 2018, 2nd Mayhem 2021, Speed LA top score: 140

Looks like Sam may be slightly favoured then, but anything can happen in a one-off WL final.
