| Matthew Tassier Well done to Elliott for shutting out Nude, but mostly this round was the Zohaib show as he hit 5th in the Hypergoat 9 high score table, pencilled the 24-pointer NEUROLEPTICS and is the first person to be Mayhem Strongest Link 3 rounds in a row since Thomas went on a blitz in the 2018 tournament. |

| Chris Hare I'd be distraught, but I find the irony of going out (as I predicted) as soon as numbers returned from sabbatical despite maxing the numbers rounds so utterly delightful that I don't mind in the slightest.

Tourney round: Weakest Link Mayhem 2023: Round 48 - Hypergoat 9
Notes from the organizer: For the final 8 this year it's a repeat of the very first format that the Random Round Generator picked, back in 2018. So it's a Hypergoat 9 rounder, this time against Nude. Hopefully Nude won't nick a round off you with an inspired spot.
One lowest scoring Weakest Link will leave the tournament this round. If there is a tie for lowest score then total score in the tournament so far will be the deciding factor. The current total scores are next to each player's fixture below.
