Matthew Tassier Tom's excellent 166 featuring the 24-pointer MOTHERLINESS tops a round full of strong scoring
|
Notes from the organizer: The penultimate round is a hypergoat game, so 12 letters, the chance to pick a handy alphabetical letter every other round and maybe an outside chance of a 24-pointer could mean a chance of some decent scores.
Alphabetical rules:
Your submitted words (WHETHER VALID OR NOT) should be in alphabetical order through each game. Therefore any word submitted that is alphabetically before any word submitted in an earlier round of the game (whether valid or not) will be ignored. Also, any word submitted twice during a game, whether valid or not, will be ignored. This effectively gives an option to cancel out a word from a previous round that you realise shouldn't have been submitted and maybe reinstate some lost points. Any queries, please ask!
Scoring:
Standard scoring for all words that pass the alphabetical rules. Your total score for this round will be added to the other rounds to find our overall winner.

Each player's total score coming into this round is noted next to their fixture below with a * representing an unplayed game in the previous round.
You have 4 days to play your game. Good luck!
