Notes from the organizer: The sixteen players who have qualified for the group stage are now in groups of 4 and will play one game in each of 3 different formats. Here are the Hypertouch games. The head-to-head aspect brings some more tactical considerations into the mix particularly if you are declaring second.

Group stage scoring:
3 points for a win
2 points for a draw
1 point for a loss
0 points for an unplayed game.
Players will be ranked on group points. Tiebreaks being total points difference, total points scored, head-to-head, qualifying score. The top 2 players in each group will qualify for the quarter finals where players' records will be compared across the groups to provide knockout seedings.

Alphabetical rules:
Your submitted words (WHETHER VALID OR NOT) should be in alphabetical order through each game. Any word you submit that is alphabetically before any word you submitted in an earlier round of the game (whether valid or not) will be ignored. Also, any word submitted twice by the same player during a game, whether valid or not, will be ignored. This effectively gives an option to cancel out a word from a previous round that you realise shouldn't have been submitted. Any queries, please ask!
