Tom Cappleman Is this using max or metamax?

Bailey Cowell

Bailey Cowell Metamax, like the other Goatdown games.

Tom Cappleman Phew (having realised I'd almost perfectly got 50% of the Metamax, but slightly over 50% of the max)

Dan Spinks

Dan Spinks oh, right, there were rules. oops

Bailey Cowell

Bailey Cowell Yes there were rules. And quite a lot of you had your scores halved. The highest scorer here was Viraj with 86%, but the stage winner is MARIA CHANDLER with 49.56 rounding up to 50%, with Tom C just falling short on 49.11%. Well done Maria!

Maria Chandler

Maria Chandler Ooh, thanks :)

Tourney round: Marathon of March: Final Junior Stage - Goatdown Jnr 15

<< Modern Foreign Languages Weekend: German 15 | Final Junior Stage - Junior 15 >>

Notes from the organizer: 5 days to go - and the first Junior Stage game is a Goatdown Jnr 15 against Waldorf. As ever, you will have 7 days to play this - either from the start date posted, or the day the fixtures are added if it's approved late. Please try to play these games in one sitting.

This is Junior, crossed with Goatdown 15; you've played some Goat formats already, so you should be familiar with the concept, and I suspect most of you have done a Junior 15 as well, but just a reminder: LETTERS are a selection of 7, NUMBERS are 5 numbers with target between 11 and 100 and large 10, and CONUNDRUMS six letters are shown and you have to find the remainign letter to solve the word.

Scoring will be a percentage of the maximum score, except anyone who gets more than 50% gets only half the final percentage points.

The spreadsheet tracking scores is attached HERE: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1MOwpx29MZjoXrPrOk3F_lc8OueznkebbTt9o0q_ciqE/edit?usp=sharing. It also contains some rules/guidelines.
If you see your scores are wrong in the spreadsheet, just put a comment on your game.

Of course, any questions - just ask!

Good luck!

Ran from: 27 March – 2 April 2023. Format: Goatdown Jnr. 15. Matches: One-off. Approved.
