Bailey Cowell

Bailey Cowell A huge variation of percentages this time - ranging from Oliver C's 'nil points' to Dave Robjohns' 176. So well done Dave fory our first stage win, and an excellent tourney position so far, like all the other top 10.

Tourney round: Marathon of March: Hyper-Hard Stage - Spoilage 15

<< Hyper-Hard Stage - Nasty 15 | Modern Foreign Languages Weekend: French 15 >>

Notes from the organizer: The final game of the Hyper-Hard stage is a Spoilage 15 against Caesar. You will have 7 days to play this - either from the start date posted, or the day the fixtures are added if it's approved late. Please try to play these games in one sitting.

Not only is this possibly the hardest Apterous variant, it may just be that people score ‘nil points’ (like UK Eurovision most years) as it’s again against one of the toughest bots.

Scoring will be a percentage of the maximum score, but double weighted for the whole stage.

Most people are probably unfamiliar with this variant, so the rules are as follows: In the LETTERS round, 2-4 letters are revealed, and players must attempt to find the longest word containing those letters in that order (not necessarily consectively). In NUMBERS 4-6 larges must be chosen which can be any numbers between 100 and 999 inclusive and the small numbers are 1-10 without duplicates with the target is anything from 1000 to 9999. CONUNDRUMS you must find the unique 12-letter word containing the given letters in the order they appear.

The spreadsheet tracking scores is attached HERE: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1MOwpx29MZjoXrPrOk3F_lc8OueznkebbTt9o0q_ciqE/edit?usp=sharing. It also contains some rules/guidelines.
If you see your scores are wrong in the spreadsheet, just put a comment on your game.

Of course, any questions - just ask!

Good luck (and well done for getting through this stage).
