Bailey Cowell Also, FYI it is the METAMAX that will be used to calculate your percentages, not the max based on the letters you chose.

Tom Cappleman

Tom Cappleman I don't think that'll work with Plum - it doesn't always pick the best letter, so a person's score wouldn't be just based on how well they do, but how much Plum lets them score

Dan Spinks

Dan Spinks Has Plum glitched in Oliver's game? he seems to have picked perfectly

Ian Volante

Ian Volante Picked perfectly in mine too. Might just be in a good mood.

Dan Spinks

Dan Spinks hmm, picked perfectly in mine now too

Fiona T

Fiona T Didn't in mine, but nor did I - I played before the rule was clarified and picked to try to ensure I maxed the round - so if the new rule is to stand, it would be good if those who played before it had the option of replaying?

Bailey Cowell

Bailey Cowell Sorry - didn’t realise goatdown had a metamax - but we’ll use that one anyway without replays. Something to note for future rounds anyway - thanks for advice!

Elwin Carlos

Elwin Carlos Can I replay my round anyway? My first go sucked. XD

Bailey Cowell The stage winner here is... JOHNNY CANUCK with a score of 80%.

Tourney round: Marathon of March: The Easy Stage - Goatdown 15

<< The Easy Stage - Duckdown 15 | The Easy Stage - Standard 15 >>

Notes from the organizer: Let's commence Round 2 of the Easy Stage: a Goatdown 15 against Plum. You will have 7 days to play this - either from the start date posted, or the day the fixtures are added if it's approved late. Please try to play these games in one sitting.

Scoring for this round will be very easy: it will be a percentage of the maximum score, with no hidden surprises once again.

Of course just to summarise - you can choose the letter you have in the final slot. In NUMBERS rounds you choose one of the numbers, and in the CONUNDRUMS you need to work out the 9-letter word from the 8 letters shown on screen.

And also noting those conundrums are CRUCIAL - they will be used as tie-breakers in the event of tied positions. The points from the conundrum don't matter - as long as it's solved it's counted.

The spreadsheet tracking scores is attached HERE: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1MOwpx29MZjoXrPrOk3F_lc8OueznkebbTt9o0q_ciqE/edit?usp=sharing. It also contains some rules/guidelines.

Of course, any questions - just ask!

Good luck!
