Notes from the organizer: This is nothing to do with Aptoleague, or the Premier League... but it is a league, of sorts. This will be a tournament based on snooker's strangest competition, the Championship League.

There will be 25 entrants in this tournament (hopefully!) and 7 players will be playing in the first group - from here, the top 4 will qualify for the play-offs, and the bottom two will be eliminated. The winner of the play-offs will be through to the winners' group, while the other 3 players, whoever came 5th, and 3 new players will go into the second group. This group stage happens 7 times, producing 7 players for the winners' group. It's weird. But it's a decent format and match length for apto!

TL;DR, what you're signing up for:
Round-robin groups of 7
All matches will be best of 5, using 9 rounders
Each group stage will be allowed just two weeks to complete (so will filter out inactive players)
The playoffs will last for one week each time
