Notes from the organizer: This is a team tournament in which you will play an Apterous version of rugby. You will represent England, France, Ireland, Italy, Scotland or Wales. You can ask to play for a particular team but this can't be guaranteed. I will limit it to 4 in a team for a maximum of 24 entries.

Players will be divided into groups according to their rating and each team will contain one player from each group. In a match everyone will play one Champions League game against the player from their rating group in the other team. The home team will be player 1 in all games.

Winning a round with a max will score a try for 5 points. It will be converted for an extra 2 points if the max is one of the following:
A word with at least 8 letters
A numbers round solved exactly when the selection is 6 small, 3 large or 4 large
A conundrum solved in 3 seconds or less

If you make a mistake you will give away a penalty. A mistake is declaring an invalid word, failing to reach a declared number or giving an incorrect answer for the conundrum. Making no declaration will not count as a mistake.

Your opponent will score the penalty for 3 points unless they make a mistake in the same round or they max the round. If they max it they will score a try but not a penalty as well.

The team score will just be the sum of each player's score. If a game is unplayed then no points will be scored. In some cases I may look for a substitute player for this game and any remaining games.

We will follow the same fixture list as the real event and have the same rules. There are 4 points for a win and 2 points for a draw. There is a bonus point for scoring 4 tries and one for losing by 7 points or fewer.
