Notes from the organizer: The Phil Collinge Memorial Tournament for Seniors (formerly The Apterous Seniors Championship) is open to all players aged 40 or above as of 31st December 2022, therefore this year we welcomed those born in 1982.
Continuing as a a straight knock-out, all matches prior to the Quarter-Finals will be Best of 3. From the Quarter-Finals onwards, all matches will be best of 5.
As the turnouts continue to grow, so have the number of seeds - this year there are 8 seeds. The first seed is the two-time defending Champion (Martyn Simpson), the other seven are those with the highest Pro-Rank on Monday 26th December 2022 (Patrick Thompson at #16, Matt OC at #23, Neil Collins at #27, Tim Down at #32, Darren Godfrey at #41, Mike Lee at #43 and Matthew Tassier at #47).
Entries closed on Friday 31st December 2022 with the draw taking place in aptochat soon after (thanks to Andy and MSR for their assistance!).
Two weeks will be allowed for each round.
