Notes from the organizer: The darts is back for another season with the defending champion (if he enters) being Johnny Canuck.

Trying to replicate the PDC Darts Championship, people fight off against each other in "short burst” sets.

Each set is a 5-Rounder and each round will be fought out over a ‘best of…’ format with the match length increasing as the rounds progress.

This year, we’ll mix it up with some rounds being CCCCC format and some being LNLNC.

I’ve toned down the amount of sets this time which means we’re not truly reflecting the PDC format, but it will be less drawn out and arduous in the later rounds.

Rounds:
1st Round - if needed (33-64 players): Best of three sets - LNLNC
2nd round (32 players): Best of five sets - CCCCC
3rd round (16 players): Best of five sets - LNLNC
Quarter-finals (8 players): Best of seven sets - CCCCC
Semi-finals (4 players): Best of seven sets - LNLNC
Final (2 players): Best of nine sets - LNLNC

Unlike the real darts, there will be no seedings, so we could have some big clashes early on.
